Enterprise Machine Assistant (Ema), a developer of next-generation AI solutions for enterprises, has raised $25 million to date, led by Accel, Section 32, and Prosus Ventures. Additionally, it saw participation from Wipro Ventures, Venture Highway, AME Cloud Ventures, Frontier Ventures, Maum Group, and Firebolt Ventures.
Ema has also launched its own AI system-Universal AI Employee. This versatile AI system can perform a wide range of complex tasks across different domains with a high level of trust and accuracy, thereby enhancing tech adoption and boosting productivity, as per a company statement.
Ema’s Universal AI Employee is designed to emulate the capabilities of a human employee – the AI system can engage in conversations, comprehend context, take continuous human feedback, reason, make informed decisions, and collaborate with human employees on complex projects.

It is built as one simple platform that integrates seamlessly with hundreds of enterprise apps and saves countless hours typically needed for onboarding new technology.
Surojit Chatterjee, Founder & CEO of Ema, said, “We are just starting out on a journey that will change how humans and synthetic intelligence interact to build a more collaborative, productive and fulfilling workplace!”
“GenAI has the potential to unlock unprecedented efficiency in enterprises, which CXOs globally have very well recognised. To enable it at scale will require seamless collaboration between human and AI employees. At Ema, we automate complex Enterprise tasks with simple conversations,” said Subrata Mitra, partner at Accel.
