Real estate developer Lodha Group announced sales of over Rs 1,000 crore in October 2020.
According to the company, homebuyers are more inclined towards ready-to-move-in homes as they get an opportunity to see what they buy. Furthermore, low interest on home loans, coupled with recently reduced stamp duty, makes this the best time to buy your dream homes.
A recent survey by Lodha Group reveals that 86.8 per cent of the respondents prefer living in independent villas and plotted developments. These should allow individuals to unwind, aid physical and mental well-being, safety. They prefer low density living with easy accessibility and availability of essential amenities. There is also an upsurge in demand for residences with green open spaces, balconies, and private gardens to use them for recreational purposes.

“The changing times have brought in a major shift in consumer preference as home buyers are now focusing on integrated living, best amenities and open space to enjoy an upgraded lifestyle. Post the pandemic, we have also seen that customers who were looking for a 1 or 2 bhk have moved up for a 1 ½ or 2 ½ bhk configuration, respectively,” said Prashant Bindal, Chief Sales Officer, Lodha Group.
He further added that there is a need for extra space for multi-functional purposes. Buyers are ready to transact with developers providing an ecosystem, quality living, along with timely delivery.
