Comedian Kunal Kamra has again attacked Ola Electric over its service quality. In a recent post on social media platform X on Wednesday, the comedian said that anyone who has successfully managed to get their OLA electric vehicle (EV) serviced should be hired under the Agni-Veer scheme of the government. The word “Agniveer” translates to “Fire-Warriors”.

“Breaking News – Youth Demands – Everyone who has successfully gotten an OLA EV serviced should be recruited under the Agni-Veer Scheme,” Kamra wrote on X.

Kunal Kamra vs. Bhavish Aggarwal, the Verbal Battle Continues

This isn’t the first time that the comedian has called out Ola for its service quality. In fact, the war of words between Kamra and Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal broke out weeks ago. Earlier on October 21, Kamra flagged concerns with Ola and called it a “public issue” in a post.

“Why is OLA a public issue? 1) The company is fooling the public 2) The company is subsidised by public money 3) The company is publicly listed,” said Kamra.

The spat between the two started when Kamra posted a picture of a large number of EV scooters lined up for service quality checks. Aggarwal promptly replied to Kamra’s remarks and called his post a “paid” one.

Earlier this month, the central consumer protection authority (CCPA) issued a show-cause notice to Ola electric and flagged concerns regarding its unfair trade practices including consumer issues.

The company, while appreciating its complain addressal mechanism, said in a regulatory filing that it has resolved around 99.1 per cent of the complaints.

“In fact, we wish to emphasise that out of 10,644 complaints that we received from the CCPA, 99.1 per cent of the complaints were resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer as per Ola Electric’s robust redressal mechanism,” said the company in a statement on Monday.
